We Built Our Entire Website Using AI. Yes, Really.
No tech skills. No developer. Just an idea and an AI tool.
We Had a Problem Most Business Owners Know
We needed a new website. But between running the business, taking care of clients, and handling everything else, we just didn't have the time or the money to hand it off to someone and wait months for the result.
So we asked ourselves a simple question: Can AI just… build it for us?
The answer was yes!
What We Used
There's an AI tool called Perplexity Computer. You might already know Perplexity — it's like a really smart search engine that actually understands your questions.
Perplexity Computer takes it one step further. Instead of just answering questions, it actually does things for you.
Think of it like a really helpful friend who happens to know how to build websites. You tell them what you want. They go build it. You come back, and it's done.
That's genuinely what happened.
How It Went
We sat down and wrote out what we wanted. Not technical stuff — just plain description. What the website was for. Who would be visiting it? What we wanted people to do when they got there.
We shared that with the AI. And it got to work.
Page by page, it built the whole thing. A place to describe our services. A way for people to contact us. A blog. A newsletter. Everything a real business website needs.
When something wasn't working right — and a few things weren't — the AI found the problem and fixed it. We didn't have to figure it out ourselves. We just described what was wrong, and it handled it.
The Part That Blew Our Minds
Here's something we didn't expect.
More and more people these days use AI assistants to find businesses, the same way they used to use Google. They ask, "Who's a good company for this?" and the AI goes and looks things up and makes a recommendation." who's a good company for this?" and the AI goes and looks things up and makes a recommendation.
If your website isn't easy for AI to read, you don't get recommended. Simple as that.
Our AI made sure our website was easy for other AI tools to read and understand, too. We went from being basically invisible to AI assistants to showing up clearly.
What's the Point of Sharing This?
Because we want you to know that this is possible now.
A few years ago, building a website meant hiring people, spending thousands of dollars, and waiting months. That's still an option — but it's not the only option anymore.
Today, if you have a clear picture of what you want, AI can help you build it. You don't need to know anything technical. You just need to know your business and be able to describe it.
That's it.
One Piece of Advice If You Try This
Be specific about what you want before you start. The more clearly you describe your vision, the better the result.
Think of it like ordering at a restaurant. "Just bring me something good" gets you something random. "I'd like the grilled salmon, no sauce, with a side salad" gets you exactly what you want.
Same idea with AI. The clearer you are, the better it performs.
